Succah in the Desert was founded in 1990 as a model for desert eco-tourism.
According to our vision , the time is now ripe for a human-ecological,
socioeconomic infrastructure to begin growing in the deserts of the world.

The technology is now available, especially in the form of photovoltaic
conversion of sunlight into electricity, to permit people to live in the remotest
valley and still enjoy the achievements of modern civilization.
